CONTINUUM STATES OF TWO-BODY COULOMB-LIKE SYSTEMS IN THE PARABOLIC QUASI-STURMIANS REPRESENTATION

The two-body scattering problem for charged particles is considered in the parabolic coordinates. Specifically, the continuum wave function is found as an expansion in terms of so called parabolic quasi-Sturmian (QS) functions. An integral representation of QS basis functions and the analytical expres-sion for the scattering amplitude are presented. The method efficiency is il-lustrated by examples
